What VotePG Is
VotePG is a civic information platform built for Prince George's County, Maryland. Our mission is to make every candidate visible and every voter informed.
How We Collect Data
- Candidate filing data from PG County Board of Elections official filings
- District boundaries from PG County GIS (gisent.princegeorgescountymd.gov)
- Questionnaire responses submitted directly by candidates
- Campaign finance data linked from the Maryland State Board of Elections
Our Source Policy
Every factual claim on VotePG has a source. We show where each piece of information came from and when it was last verified. If you see an error, email corrections@votepg.org.
The Questionnaire
VotePG sends the same 16-question questionnaire across 8 issue areas to every candidate in a race. Responses are published verbatim. Candidates who do not respond will have that noted on their profile.
What VotePG Is Not
VotePG does not endorse candidates. We do not accept advertising. We are not affiliated with any campaign, political party, or government agency.
